In June 2019, the as yet unserviced destination of Las Vegas will be added to the list of direct routes in Schiphol’s network. KLM will begin flying this route twice a week with a Boeing 787-9.
From 31 March, the start of the 2019 summer season, United Airlines will begin offering a new route at Schiphol: San Francisco. The route will be served all year round by daily flights with a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner. This destination is a key hub for United Airlines that connects Schiphol to four other United hubs: Chicago, Houston, New York/Newark and Washington. KLM already operates flights to San Francisco.
On 2 December, Vueling will begin operating four flights a week between Schiphol and Vienna with an Airbus A320. Austrian Airlines, easyJet and KLM are already active on this route.
