25-27 September: Lanes closed on A4 motorway, Schiphol exit shut all weekend

Are you coming to Schiphol by car in the weekend of 25 – 27 September? Then bear in mind that the journey will take 10 minutes longer than usual due to works being carried out as part of the dual taxiway system the dual taxiway system project.

Lane closures A4

Certain measures to restrict traffic are necessary to ensure safe and efficient working conditions. That’s why a number of lanes on the A4 will be closed for traffic from the direction of Den Haag between 05:00 on Saturday 26th September and 16:00 on Sunday 27th September. Two of the three lanes between Hoofddorp-Zuid and the De Hoek junction will be closed, and one of the three lanes between the De Hoek junction and the Schiphol tunnel will be closed.

Closure Schiphol exit (from the direction of The Hague)

The exit for Schiphol from the direction of Den Haag will be closed all weekend, between 21:00 on Friday night and 05:00 on Monday morning.

Detour

Traffic will be rerouted via the A9 and A5 motorways. Are you travelling to the airport by car? Then keep in mind that the journey will take an extra 10 minutes. Schiphol will remain accessible while the works are being carried out.
