Lost & found: All is not lost
It's always unpleasant when you lose something important. We collect all sorts of lost items every day, from jewellery and passports, to laptops and entire suitcases. Please check with us to see whether or not we have your lost items.
Are you still at Schiphol?
Please visit one of our information desks in the departure lounges and arrival halls. Perhaps your lost item (including identification documents or driver's licenses) was already found and handed in here. If so, you will get it back immediately. Or they will advise you on ways to find it back. If you have lost your hold baggage, please contact your airline.
Check our central storage facility
Found items are collected and stored in our central storage facility, as of the next day. Do you want to know whether you can find them here? Then fill out the online form.
You will receive an email from us within three days when you lose something at Schiphol stating whether we have found your property and how you can get it back, or five if you lost it on a flight.
Collect or courier your items
Found items can be picked-up or posted to you. We will email you if we find them, and explain how you can collect them or arrange postage.
Lost passport, driver's license or ID-card
Found identification documents and driver's licenses are collected and handed over to the Royal Dutch Marechaussee the next day. Inquire at their desk whether your document was found. You will find the Emergency Documents Office in Departure lounge 1 or you can reach them on +31 20 603 8626.
