Parking rates P1 Parking

You can make a booking for P1 up to 2 hours before arrival at P1. Making a booking is not required. The same parking rates will occur with or without reservation if you book or drive in on the day itself. Please note that, without a booking, you can park up to a maximum of 48 hours. If you park longer than 48 hours without booking, an extra fee of € 100 per day will be incurred.

Do you have a reservation for the P1 car park?

Please be aware that you cannot change or extend the reservation period after entering P1. If you park longer than the period for which you reserved, you'll pay € 44 per day for the first 48 hours you overstay. If you overstay by more than 48 hours, you'll pay € 100 per day as of the third day.

Change or cancel my parking reservation

To reclaim your total purchase amount when cancelling a reservation, you need to add the cancellation option when making a parking reservation.The cost of € 5 for adding this option can not be reclaimed when ​ cancelling your reservation. Making changes to for example the parking date, license plate or personal data is free of charge and can take place up to 24 hours in advance. Important: if you change your reservation, you will automatically receive a new reservation number. Please save the confirmation of your reservation and any changes that we send you by email, as they will contain the most up-to-date information.

How parking works at P1 Parking

Step 1: Use the following address for your navigation system to P1: Ceintuurbaan Zuid, 1118 CX Schiphol. Or on the motorway, take the Schiphol exit. Follow the signs for 'P1 Parkeren 0-48 uur'.

Where to find P1 Short-term Parking

Step 2: Leave your home on time. Please check your airline's website for up-to-date advice and your check-in desk’s opening time. We normally advise 2 hours in advance for European flights, and 3 hours for intercontinental flights.

Step 3: There are 2 options to recognize you (and your reservation) when you enter and exit P1 with the car. If you paid your reservation with credit card, you can offer that same credit card at the barrier. Entering with number plate recognition is also an option. Read how both options work in the FAQ's below.

Step 4: Park your car (in the garage) and walk to departures within 3 to 6 minutes.

Frequently asked questions P1 Parking

What if I use P1 Parking without a reservation?

Nothing, you can drive in on the day of your departure and park in 1 for maximum 48 hours. Online booking rates are the same compared to the drive-up rates until 48 hours. If you want to park longer than 48 hours in P1, you have to make a booking. This is possible up to 2 hours before arrival.

Why do I have to make a booking if I want to park longer than 48 hours in P1?

We want to guarantee everyone who comes to Schiphol for a short trip or to pick up or bring someone a parking spot. That is why there is (without a booking) a limited parking time in P1 for maximum 48 hours. If there are sufficient free parking spots, it is possible to book online a parking spot for a longer period. The costs depend on the parking duration and the period.

What if I don’t receive a booking confirmation?

  • Did the reservation confirmation end up in your spam box?
  • Is the reservation amount been debited from your account? If not, the reservation was unfortunately not successful. Please, make a new reservation.
  • Do you have multiple e-mail addresses? You may have entered a different e-mail address when making the reservation.
  • Have you not received the booking confirmation, but has the booking amount been debited? Please contact us, of course we are also available for other questions.

Can I change or cancel a parking reservation?

Can I still drive with my Privium card at P1?

No. You can't drive into P1 with your Privium card from November 2nd. You can enter at Privium 1, Address: Transportstraat, 1118 ZT Schiphol, where you can park for 72 hours now.

How do I enter and exit P1 with a reservation?

There are 2 ways to enter and exit P1 by car. You can choose for credit card recognition or number plate recognition.

How do I enter and exit P1 with credit card recognition?

Offer the same credit card at the barrier that you used to make the reservation. When you exit the garage with the car, you can offer your credit card again. Therefore, you do not have to pay at the payment terminal.
If you exceed the reservation by a day or more, you have to pay up to € 100 extra costs. You can pay at the payment terminal or directly at the barrier with your credit card.

How does it work when I want to drive in P1 with license plate recognition?

  1. Make sure your number plate is clean and readable and that it matches the number on your reservation.
  2. You will automatically receive a parking ticket at the barrier with your number plate and your reservation number printed on it. It can take a while before our system recognises your number plate. Please note: do not press the button for a parking ticket
  3. Take your parking ticket from the machine
  4. Keep your parking ticket with you because you will need it again when you leave
  5. When you return, you do not need to go to the payment terminal. You can simply exit with your parking ticket, unless you park longer than your estimated departure time; if that happens, you can pay the extra costs up to € 100 at the payment terminal.

Please note: please do not press the button for a parking ticket, if you have not automatically received a parking ticket (see step 2, above). Always ask for assistance at the intercom. Please keep your reservation number by hand so we can help you faster if problems occur.

Where and how can I use the electric charging points?

You can charge your electric car on the second floor/the roof of the P1 garage. You can find these charging points on row 206 and row 207. There are 12 charging points. You will pay € 0.40 per kWh for charging with a starting rate of € 1.21. You cannot reserve a charging point.

Where are the parking spaces for mobility impaired drivers?

On each floor there are parking spaces for mobility impaired drivers next to the elevator. They are marked with the International Symbol of Access (ISA). These parking spots cannot be reserved and are intended for use by anyone with a disability card. Always place the card clearly visible behind the windscreen. Our airport assistants will be happy to help you to and from Departures and Arrivals.

What is the maximum car park height?

The maximum height at P1 is 2 meters. Vehicles higher than 2 meters can only park at P3 Long-Term Parking or P4 Basic Parking. This is also applicable when you come to pick up or bring someone with a car exceeding the maximum height of 2 meters.

What is the fastest way from P1 to Departures and Arrivals?

Departures and Arrivals are already visible from P1. Follow the signs and walk to the terminals in just a few minutes.

If your parking reservation costs were paid twice, you can request a refund for the extra cost. This situation may occur when a reservation was made then a parking ticket was taken from the machine, or if the reservation was double-paid by credit card.
