Air traffic back to normal

Last update: 28 August 2018, 15:34, Amsterdam

Air traffic at Schiphol is now back to normal. Air Traffic Control has recovered the cable that was damaged yesterday during digging works by a third party. This resulted in a technical fault with the back-up communication systems of the Air Traffic Control towers at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. Consequently, airport capacity was reduced. Currently, the back-up communication system is working again and air traffic has been fully resumed.
