Motorway A10 and train stations Amsterdam South closed for maintenance

Last update: 13 May 2019, 15:14, Amsterdam

Due to scheduled road works on the Amsterdam ring road, the A10 South motorway is closed at the De Nieuwe Meer junction and the Badhoevedorp junction from Friday night 24 May 10 pm till Monday morning 27 May 5 am. Traffic to and from Schiphol will be diverted via the A5 and the A9. At the same time, work is being carried out on the railway tracks in this area, which means that there are no trains running from, to and via the Amsterdam Zuid and Amsterdam RAI stations.

If you’re travelling between Schiphol Airport and Amsterdam today, please account for some extra time for your journey to follow the detours when travelling on motorway A10. Train passengers please note that travelling via the train stations Amsterdam Zuid and Amsterdam RAI is not possible.

Advice

Car drivers, please follow the signed diversion and make sure you checked www.vananaarbeter.nl before you go. Train passengers, please plan your trip with the NS Travel Planner or Travel Planner Xtra app, before departure.
