The Fettercairn Distillery is a Scottish whiskey distillery located at the foot of the mountain, which is reflected in the name, which translates to 'fettercairn' in Gaelic. It was founded there in 1824 by Sir Alexander Ramsay. A single malt whiskey from the Scottish Highlands. Available exclusively in the duty-free shop. After 12 years of aging in American white oak casks previously used for bourbon, this Scottish single malt whiskey receives a new flavor profile after a further 18 to 24 months in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. The result is a premium Scottish whiskey with notes of tropical fruit and subtle spices thanks to the unique distillate refinement process. Notes of orange peel and dried fruit fill the air. Aromas of vanilla and other tropical fruits are added.

The 21 Year Old is produced in small, bespoke batches. Each cask is nosed and approved, making every batch unique. A sizeable inventory of whisky of this age is extremely rare and only the best are selected for this expression. The complex combination of cask types imparts richness, intensity and a long finish to the whisky.

The Balvenie 18 Year Old Pedro Ximenez Cask Finish (48.7% ABV) is a distinct single malt Scotch whisky with a complexity of bold and bright flavours drawn from finishing in sun-ripened Pedro Ximenez wine casks. An intense double maturation process develops a medley of tart fruit, vibrant oak and sweet honey flavours marked by a smooth lavender aroma and unmistakable finish. Available to enjoy in a 70cl bottle held within a stunning presentation tube ready for gifting.
