Schiphol has chosen Arup as a system integrator because of their advanced expertise and previous experience with system integration. Birgit Otto: ‘Arup has a long history of managing complex projects. They understand the requirements of high-speed construction projects. And their strategy and past experiences show that they understand how to work within an operational airport - which includes time pressure and a limited budget.’

Climate systems, lighting and more

It is the duty of the system integrator to manage the purchasing, testing and delivery of all systems for the pier and terminal, on behalf of Schiphol. Think of climate systems, lighting and systems needed for check-in and baggage drop-off. On Monday 15 May, the team from Arup started their activities.
