When constructing the new baggage basement, we are taking into account the possibility of building a new terminal on top of it in the future. This terminal is necessary to guarantee operational continuity at Schiphol, especially during peak times and during the major renovation project. By constructing this new terminal, we will be creating more space to move around in. This will allow parts of the current terminals to be temporarily closed for renovation, while passenger flows can continue to pass through the new terminal.
