Schiphol is WeChat Pay's first Flagship Smart Airport in Europe

The multifunctional app, which offers features such as chat, social media and the mobile payment option WeChat Pay, has more than a billion active users. As the first Flagship Smart Airport in Europe, we are now offering our Chinese passengers a tailor-made travel and shopping experience as an integral part of the app. In doing so, we are responding to the demands of this growing group of passengers.

The number of Chinese passengers at Schiphol is rising every year. Schiphol had over 500,000 departing Chinese passengers in 2018.
