News: International passengers rate us as the airport with the best retail customer service

It's one of the best awards an airport can win: the Travel Retail Award in the category ‘Best Airport for Customer Service 2019’! A fantastic result that we can all be extremely proud of.

Around 5,000 international passengers rated the customer friendliness, proactivity and working methods of retail staff at various airports. Tanja Dik, Director Consumer Products & Services at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol said: “The fact that passengers from all over the world give us the highest score for customer service is a fantastic reward for your commitment to exceed the expectations of our passengers on a daily basis.”

The other airports in the running for this award were Singapore Changi Airport, Abu Dhabi International Airport, Dubai International Airport and Hong Kong International Airport. The award was announced and presented in Singapore by TR Business, a British travel & retail media platform.
