The first subproject of Upgrade Piers - the adaptation of the gates’ boarding areas - is complete. Hurray! At the moment, we’re adding some final touches at the gates on the G-pier. All ceiling-high, closed walls have been removed, moved or replaced by low glass fences. This makes the boarding areas much more spacious, more open and lighter.

The Schiphol of tomorrow
All boarding areas have been modified, except for gates D56 / 57, D43 and the relocation of the counters at D18 and D22. These will follow at the beginning of summer. When everything is finished, the boarding areas at the piers D to G are an example for the Schiphol of tomorrow.
