Special parking spots for car sharers

We like to make space for car sharers. Because car sharers are conscious drivers; they drive fewer kilometres and therefore produce fewer emissions. That’s why Schiphol has special parking spots for shared cars. You can find the 10 Sixt Share and 16 Car2Go/ShareNow spots close to the terminal.

How can I reserve a shared car?

You can reserve a Sixt Share or Car2Go/ShareNow shared car using a special app. Sixt Share allows you to travel to/from the airport to/from the service areas in Amsterdam, Rotterdam and The Hague. You can also drop them off at Sixt Share locations in cities including Utrecht, Eindhoven and Groningen. Car2Go/ShareNow can be used for journeys between the airport and Amsterdam.

The special parking spots for shared cars can be found at the World Trade Center public car park. They are on floor -2 of the WTC parking garage. From here, you can walk to the terminal in five minutes. We have installed 8 charging stations where the special parking spots are so that you can easily charge your car if necessary.
