What do we stand for?

Royal Schiphol Group’s mission is to connect the Netherlands to the rest of the world as effectively as possible in order to contribute to prosperity and well-being in this country and beyond it. We call this 'Connecting to compete and to complete'.

What do we aim to achieve?

Our ambition is for Schiphol to become Europe’s Preferred Airport for passengers, airlines and logistics service providers alike.

How do we intend to achieve this?

To maintain and further develop Schiphol’s position, we must be successful on all fronts. For this reason, in the period up to 2020 we are focusing on five strategic themes: Top Connectivity, Excellent Visit Value, Competitive Marketplace, Development of the Group and Sustainable & Safe Performance. The last of these also serves as the guiding principle for the other four themes.
