Schiphol in the classroom
Schiphol is a remarkable place and there are lots of fun facts to discover about it. A great topic for a presentation or project.

How big is an aircraft engine? Can I work as a bird controller at Schiphol in the future? During the Schiphol Neighbour Days 2025, visitors discovered the answers to all their questions about our airport.
On Friday 12 September, over 1,400 students attended the Schiphol Neighbour Days, and on Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 September, we welcomed around five thousand enthusiastic neighbours. Visitors of all ages enjoyed a variety of activities taking place at and around Schiphol.
We saw many happy faces among the visitors. And the volunteers who ensured that these Schiphol Neighbour Days ran smoothly also visibly enjoyed the spectacle.
In short, the Schiphol Neighbour Days 2025 will go down in history as a resounding success. Want to reminisce? You can watch a retrospective video below.
