Schiphol in the classroom
Schiphol is a remarkable place and there are lots of fun facts to discover about it. A great topic for a presentation or project.

There’s a buzz in the air, and behind the scenes we’re working hard on something special. This time, we’re taking a slightly different approach to the Schiphol Neighbour Days. Expect a unique edition full of opportunities to meet people, enjoy experiences and discover surprises. What exactly are we going to do? We’re keeping that a secret for now. But one thing is for sure: you won’t want to miss this! And it’s getting closer and closer…
Would you like to be the first to know when this special edition is taking place?
Just how big is an aeroplane engine, actually? And could I work as an air traffic controller at Schiphol when I grow up? During previous Schiphol Neighbour Days, visitors had all their questions about our airport answered. People of all ages enjoyed a wide range of activities taking place at and around Schiphol. We saw lots of happy faces among the participants. And the volunteers who ensured that these Schiphol Neighbour Days ran smoothly also clearly enjoyed all the excitement.
