Pharmaceutical shippers get a behind the scenes look at Schiphol:

On November 2nd, 25 pharmaceutical shippers got to experience the airport processes their pharma shipments follow, firsthand.

Pharmaceutical shippers were invited to Amsterdam to get a thorough understanding of the handling of pharma shipments at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. The guests got acquainted with how the KLM Sorter centre deals with pharmaceutical shipments, both dnata’s and Swissport’s warehouses, and they had an opportunity to visit a Turkish Cargo airplane.

The Pharma Experience is an initiative by Pharma Gateway Amsterdam (PGA). The main focus of the day was showing pharmaceutical companies how PGA members handle temperature control during the logistics process of pharmaceutical products.
