On Tuesday 29 November and Wednesday 30 November between 09:00 and 16:00, there will be works on taxiway Zulu to the south of the Zwanenburgbaan Runway. This will have an impact on air traffic taking off towards the north or landing from the north. On both days, the Buitenveldertbaan Runway can be deployed more than usual.

Alternative runway use at peak times
These works mean that aircraft cannot taxi to the south of the Zwanenburgbaan Runway. If the Polderbaan and Zwanenburgbaan runways are in use at the same time during peak times, all aircraft to and from the Polderbaan must travel along the north side of the Zwanenburgbaan. For safety reasons, the Buitenveldertbaan Runway will therefore be used more frequently as a second runway during peak times when air traffic takes off towards or lands from the north.
