In an online information session this afternoon, Schiphol announced the provisional runway maintenance schedule for the coming year. The presented dates are subject to change. Most notable is the major maintenance on the Zwanenburgbaan Runway. It means that air traffic will make infrequent use of this runway during the first half of 2023.

Works on the runways
Every year, Schiphol carries out maintenance on the runways and surrounding taxiways in order to keep them in good condition. The renewal of landing systems by LVNL is also part of the work. While maintenance works are going on, air traffic makes use of other runway combinations. We'll specify which runways will be used more frequently during the period of maintenance as soon as the runway maintenance schedule for 2023 is definitive.
