News: Scheduled maintenance of Runway 18L-36R

Published on: 6 September 2018

From Monday morning 10 September to Monday morning 17 September, Schiphol will be carrying out maintenance work on Runway 18L-36R. During this time there will be more air traffic on Runway 18C-36C and Runway 09-27. These changes to the use of the airport’s runways could lead to more disturbance in certain areas.

The maintenance work

During this scheduled maintenance we will be removing rubber from the runway and repairing any damages to the asphalt and the concrete. Runway lighting will also be thoroughly cleaned. For these reasons, we are unable to do this necessary maintenance at night.
