Less noise nuisance for neighbours
Schiphol and Air Traffic Control the Netherlands (LVNL) have added 16 new measures to the noise reduction programme, which has also been presented to the Minister of Infrastructure and Water Management.
Measures made for and with the local community
Schiphol and LVNL are both committed to reducing noise nuisance. They are taking measures that have been made for the community and in collaboration with the community. The 16 new measures are the result of the insights and suggestions that Schiphol received from people in the local area.
Schiphol remains committed to noise nuisance reduction
Last year, Schiphol had many talks with local residents and asked them to fill in an online questionnaire about nuisance reduction. We received around 1,000 replies. These replies have been answered and can be read in an in-depth report. On this page, you’ll also find a dashboard with all the reactions from the online questionnaire. This is a significant milestone for Schiphol and LVNL. We continue to strive for less noise nuisance, regardless of how many flights there are.
