Do you have one or more existing connections but are leaving your location? Or is a new party moving into your premises? Then fill out the form below. Read more about the steps involved in switching your connection(s).

To transfer your connections to another contract party—also known as switching—you must submit a request by completing the switch form. Fill it out as completely as possible. After you send it to us, we will assess whether all necessary information is present to process your request. If not, we will contact you.

Once your request is approved, we follow these steps in the switch process:

  1. We send you confirmation that the connections will be transferred to the new contract party, including the effective date.
  2. This effective date is important. The new contract party must promptly inform their energy supplier (for electricity and gas) of the start date. The supplier can then include these connections in their portfolio. Legally, a connection cannot exist without an energy supplier.
  3. We initiate several administrative and contractual actions and communicate with the new contract party.
  4. Once the new contract party has signed the transport agreement(s) with us, the switch is executed. Note: until then, the old contract party remains responsible for the connection(s).
  5. For any water connection, you do not need to contract a supplier; Schiphol Utilities will arrange this for you.
