KLM launches Fortaleza
As of May 3 2018, KLM is flying directly to Fortaleza. KLM operates two flights a week on Thursdays and Saturdays. These flights are operated with an Airbus A330-200 which has 268 seats. A third weekly flight will be added on Mondays as of 2 July 2018. Fortaleza is the third destination in Brazil operated from Amsterdam.
Etihad Airways increases capacity
This summer season Etihad Airways will use a Boeing 777-300ER instead of a Boeing 787 on the route Amsterdam to Abu Dhabi. The Boeing 777-300ER has 412 seats which is an improvement of 113 seats and will be operated in the period from July to end of September.
Norwegian launches New York JFK
As of May 7 2018, Norwegian operates to New York JFK Airport with a 4-weekly service. This new route of Norwegian is operated with a B787-9.
Delta Air Lines extends service to Los Angeles and Orlando
This winter Delta Air Lines will keep operating their routes to Los Angeles and Orlando. Both destinations were launched this summer.
TUI fly all year round to Paramaribo
This winter TUI fly will keep operating their route to Paramaribo. Last year TUI fly started operating to Paramaribo in collaboration with Surinam Airways during the summer season. TUI fly will operate the route once a week and Surinam Airways will operate the route three times a week.
KLM launches Växjö
As of May 15 2018, KLM opened its new route to Växjö. KLM operates the new daily flight with an Embraer 175 with 88 seats. This is the fourth destination of KLM in Sweden.
