From Monday 28 October to Wednesday 6 November, routine maintenance work will be carried out on the Polderbaan Runway. Because the runway will not be available for air traffic while the work is going on, we will be using other runways during this period. For departing traffic, we will use the Zwanenburgbaan and the Buitenveldertbaan runways. In addition to these runways, landing traffic will also make use of the Schiphol-Oostbaan Runway.
Maintenance work
We are restoring the runway where necessary and carrying out minor repairs. We're also going to be cleaning the lights, checking the cables and electrics, and mowing the grass around the runway. And we'll be flushing out the runway drainage system.
