More opportunities for Amsterdam’s youth
Your chances in life are still influenced by the circumstances you’re born into. To improve the prospects and position of young people in Amsterdam and the region who have fewer opportunities at home, Schiphol is collaborating with several local organisations. JINC, LifeSkills Zuidoost, Nieuwe Iconen van de Stad (New Icons of the City) and LCS each help young people broaden their horizons in their own way.

Through taster internships, workplace visits and interview training given by Schiphol employees, the airport shows these young people what opportunities this dynamic workplace has to offer. As a result, students gain clearer and better insight into potential career paths. And in return, Schiphol hopes that these future talents will one day choose to work here.
