The transition from CTSN to I-SEC
April 9, 2026
Together, we are preparing for May 18: the launch of Team Security, the transition to I-SEC, the Security Academy, and improvements in our working environment.

On 4 November 2024, the European tender for Security officially started. Our goal is a long-term cooperation with security companies, which means we will have to carry out tenders less frequently. This creates more peace and stability. Schiphol has chosen to reduce the number of security companies from five to three, divided into three clearly defined lots.
We highly value transparent communication about this process. Security staff at Schiphol are actively informed via screens in the rest areas, video messages by Philip van Noort, special updates and newsletters in the rest areas. You can find these means of communication and read back all the information on this webpage.
Have you missed a Schiphol Security News newsletter? Here you can find all the newsletters previously shared in the rest rooms.
You can also find the Schiphol Security Updates here, which have been shared over the past few months by Schiphol through the security companies with the security staff at the airport.
In the videos below, Philip van Noort, Director of Schiphol Security, clearly and concisely explains the approach, planning, and key principles of the tender process through video messages and interviews.
