Royal Schiphol Group's mission is to create a home for world travellers. By continuously working to ensure the happiness of travellers, airlines and employees, in balance with the environment and with excellent airport infrastructure and facilities for travellers and cargo, our company promotes the flourishing of international trade, tourism and knowledge exchange, and enables people to meet each other, visit family and go on holiday.
Our ambition is to have happy travellers, airlines and employees, in balance with the environment. We want our airports to be emission-free by 2050, ultimately achieving circular business operations. We will continue to play a leading role in making the aviation sector more sustainable in order to achieve net-zero emissions in aviation by 2050.
Royal Schiphol Group's Vision 2050 sets out a goal for our organisation and the wider Dutch aviation sector. Our Vision is based on strengthening our essential 'qualities': Quality of Network, Quality of Life, Quality of Work and Quality of Service. Safety, a robust organisation and reliable infrastructure are the three fundamental conditions on which these qualities are based.
From travellers to employees, we believe it is very important that everyone feels safe, valued and welcome at Schiphol. That is why integrity is a key priority within our organisation. This revolves around doing business honestly, treating each other with respect and having a transparent policy.
