United Airlines launches route AMS- SFO

On March 31 the inaugural flight of United Airlines to San Francisco took place. With cake and drinks for the passengers, a ribbon ceremony and speeches the route was launched.

Air France Hop launches Brest

Prior to the launch of Brest by Air France Hop, Facebook followers were asked to share their tips on new destination. With all these tips a booklet was made and handed out to the passengers of the first flight. Departing from Amsterdam there was the traditional water salute. Air France HOP operates Amsterdam-Brest 3 times a week.

60 year Austrian Airlines

Austrian Airlines celebrated its 60 year anniversary at Amsterdam. Aviation marketing colleagues travelled to Vienna to hand out Dutch stroopwafels at the main offices of Austrian.

Norwegian 10 years at Amsterdam

To celebrate the 10 years of operation of Norwegian at Amsterdam, wooden tulips were handed out to the arriving passengers and Dutch stroopwafels were handed out at the Norwegian headquarters in Oslo.

50th anniversary Royal Air Maroc at Amsterdam

The celebration of the 50th anniversary of Royal Air Maroc at Amsterdam took place on April 5th with a personal birthday video that was sent out to all contacts. Passengers were treated to Moroccan sweets and Dutch tulips. In the evening a dinner was hosted to over 60 guests of Royal Air Maroc in Amsterdam.

LEVEL starts Amsterdam base

On April 6th LEVEL started its operations from Amsterdam with flights to Vienna, Rome and London Luton. The official moment was held on April 7th with a water salute, cake ceremony, ribbon cutting and interviews with Vincent Hodder, CEO of LEVEL.

Korean Air celebrates 30 years passenger services

Korean Air celebrated its 30th year of passenger services at Amsterdam with a dinner at Madurodam; where a miniature Korean Air aircraft can be seen on the mini-Schiphol Airport. In those 30 years, Korean Air nearly flew 1.1 million passengers between Seoul and Amsterdam.
