Update on travel restrictions for Dutch citizens and The Netherlands

Yesterday evening (03/06 20:30 CEST) the Dutch cabinet has issued an update on travel restrictions for Dutch citizens and travelling to and from the Netherlands for the period after June 15th 2020.
Per June 15th 2020 non-essential travel will be possible for the following countries: Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Germany, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Portugal, Slovakia, and the Dutch Caribbean. Additional countries could be added to this list in de coming weeks.
Travelling to Denmark, Sweden, The United Kingdom and outside the EU/Schengen zone continues to be discouraged for now.

The current travel restrictions for the EU/Schengen zone issued by the European Commission expire on June 15th 2020. At this point, there is no consensus on whether the ban for Non-EU/Schengen zone citizens traveling to the EU/Schengen zone will be lifted. We will inform you when information becomes available.
The EASA list of high risk countries and the mandatory regulations issued by the Ministry of Transport and Water management remains in effect.

Notice of restarting your operation

While travel restrictions are loosening, we see more airlines restarting their operation. Schiphol Airport’s ambition is to facilitate all intended flights as much as possible. In order to cater to your needs, we would like to emphasize that a controlled and safe operation can be implemented only if we are aware of your plans, also if those plans are not a 100% sure.

To be clear: We need to know about your schedule at least two weeks in advance. Notice in shorter time could result in us not being able to facilitate your operation and implement COVID-19 measures on time. Please contact your business partner about your intended schedule and also send it to scheduling@schiphol.nl.
