On Tuesday 12 March, the achievement of the highest point in the construction of the new car rental location at P4 was celebrated. Schiphol Parking and Schiphol Real Estate put the construction teams of contractors Friso Bouwgroep and BAM Infra Nederland in the spotlight with a lunch, a tip and a pan beer.
The construction work is scheduled to last until the end of July, after which the installation and relocation of the car rental companies will follow. Commissioning is expected by the end of this year.
With the arrival of the new Car Rental Service Center and the 17,000 m² of solar panels that will be installed on the roof, we are taking an important step in making Schiphol more sustainable and the objective of electrifying transport to and from the airport as much as possible.
