Air traffic controller Martijn explains how the new Zwanenburgbaan Runway night-time approach procedure works. This flight path is used at night by aircraft that come from the north and land on the Zwanenburgbaan Runway.

Nightly flight path to Zwanenburgbaan
Last May, LVNL began guiding aircraft to the Zwanenburgbaan Runway using a new, curved approach route that avoids the most densely-populated areas. The planes mainly fly around Krommenie and Assendelft. This adjustment to the night-time flight route is a measure aimed at reducing nuisance. You can read more about this on minderhinderschiphol.nl.
