Bus
In the future, travellers will enjoy an improved train station and bus station at Schiphol. We are redesigning the bus station as part of the MHS project.
The works include constructing a new bus platform with canopy, a modified lane for taxis, P3 buses and hotel shuttles, and a new bicycle storage facility. The emergency services will continue to use their current route. The Bus sub-project also includes some modifications to the Jan Dellaertplein.
This sub-project will see the creation of a bus station that offers more space and comfort for travellers. There will also be a direct connection from the bus station to the train station underground and to the WTC walkway above.
Facts & figures
- Travellers will still be able to make use of the bus station while these works are being carried out. The bus stops may sometimes be relocated. These activities will have only a limited impact on other traffic.
