How P1 Holiday Parking works

Enter and exit with number plate recognition

If you reserve a parking spot in advance, you can decide to drive-in using licence plate recognition. That means your licence plate will be scanned when you drive up to the barrier at Schiphol Parking, and you will not have to present your credit card when you enter. Please note that the machine will still issue a parking ticket upon arrival – please keep that safe, as you will need it to exit the park with your vehicle.

If your licence plate number changes between making the booking and arriving at the garage, you can update your reservation here.

Drive in and out using a credit card

With a reservation you have the choice to enter the car park using your credit card. Simply swipe your credit card at the control gate barrier. Our system will recognise your card and the barrier will automatically open. When you leave, just present the same credit card at the control gate and you can exit straight away.

Electric vehicle charge points

At P1, you can recharge your electric car if space is available. You will find the electric charging stations on the second floor/roof level in rows 206 and 207. The electric charging consumption rate is € 0.36 per kWh, with a starting rate of € 1.21. It’s not possible to book a charge point in advance.

Car parks for people with limited mobility

Parking spaces for disabled people are located next to the lift on each level. There are no extra charges for using these spaces. Simply ensure that your disabled identity card is clearly visible behind the windscreen before you leave your car. Our airport assistants are happy to help you to and from Departures or Arrivals. It’s not possible to book a parking space for people with limited mobility in advance.

Maximum clearance height is 2 metres

The maximum clearance height for P1 is 2 metres. All cars higher than 2 metres must be parked at P3 Long-term Parking or P4 Basic Parking. You can there park there for the applicable rates.

P1 Holiday Parking rates

You need to book online to use P1 Holiday Parking. The rate you have to pay depends on the period of time you choose, and how long your car remains in the lot. If you return later than expected, you will need to pay for the extra costs at the payment terminal. Please remember that it will cost an additional € 100 per day.
