Flying to a country outside the Schengen zone
Simply check in and drop off your luggage at one of the check-in desks in Departures 2 or 3 if you’re leaving the Schengen zone. If you have already checked in and don’t need to drop off any baggage, just go through Security and Passport Control at Departures 2, then head to your gate via Lounge 2.
Flying to a country within the Schengen zone
You can also check in and drop off your baggage at one of the check-in desks in Departures 2 or 3. If you checked in online and have no baggage to drop in, simply follow the signs towards the temporary security screening area near Departures 1. You do not have to go through the passport control area if you are flying within the Schengen zone – you can just head through security and go straight to your gate via Lounge 1.
There are signs in Departures that will point you in the right direction. If you are stuck, simply ask a Schiphol representative for help and ensure that you maintain a 1.5-metre distance between you. If you are travelling with others, please ask one person to ask for information while the rest of your group remains well away from you and each other.
Lounge 3 and 4 closed
At the moment Lounge 3 and 4 are closed. Therefore you can only visit the shops and facilities in Lounge 1 and 2. If you have any questions about this, please turn to our staff for more information.
