Medical assistance for everyone
The First Aid Post is for all passengers, employees and visitors to Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. It’s not only for emergencies – they will also help if you have minor symptoms, injuries or a medical question.
Experienced doctors and nurses
The medical staff are specialised in travel health. They can perform minor procedures, prescribe medicines and assess whether you're 'fit to fly'. If not, the Airport Medical Services staff will let you know what needs to happen before you can continue your journey.
Claiming expenses and picking up medicines
The post will claim consultation, treatment, medicines and other associated costs directly from your insurer for holders of Dutch medical insurance. Prescriptions can be collected from the pharmacy inside the Airport Medical Services facility.
