Chardonnay

The colour is garnet-red with ruby thighlights that take on a slightly orange tone over time. It has a clear-cut, intense nose with overtones of vanilla, spices, withered roses and underbrush. The taste is dry, but soft, full-bodied, velvety and wellbalanced, and is very long-lasting.

Colour : A beautiful pale yellow, with green highlights.. Nose : A fine, elegant nose, with floral aromas (acacia, flowers of the vine) and fruity notes (passion fruit, grapefruit, litchi). Palate : A well balanced palate with a fresh, enduring final of flinty mineral notes and floral-fruity elements (peach, tangerine zest).

A fresh, full-bodied Chardonnay with lemon zest and white peach flavours, complemented by subtle oak. A well balanced wine with a creamy smooth texture. The Limestone Coast has a climate well suited for growing Chardonnay, with warm summer days and plenty of sunshine allowing full fruit flavours and sugars to develop. This year we had a favourable ripening season, with mild days and cool nights allowing superlative flavour development. Good canopy cover protected the fruit during the one week of intense heat.
