Over the first four months of 2017, we broke all previous records for visitor numbers. And now at the start of the summer, the number of visitors to Schiphol is already higher than during the same period last year. So this year, more eyes than ever will be fixed on your message at Schiphol.
A good start to 2017
In the first four months of this year, we have welcomed on average 9.3% more travelers than in the same period last year. Our visitor numbers have also grown more strongly than over the same period last year. Altogether, they grew the fastest in April, when we welcomed 11.3% more visitors than 12 months previously.
The growth continues
Our forecasts show that visitor numbers during the whole of 2017 will be considerably higher than in the same period last year. For many other media companies, the summer months are a slow period, but at Schiphol these are the most important months of the year. We tend to receive the highest number of visitors from the beginning of June till the end of September: around 200,000 per day on average. Because of this, it's an ideal time to raise your brand awareness or to boost your sales!
