What is Schiphol Excellence Parking?

Schiphol Excellence Parking is the luxury parking facility for frequent flyers looking for speed, quality and exclusivity. The parking facility is connected directly to Departure Hall 3 and can be accessed only by customers of Schiphol Excellence Parking, via a corridor.

What makes Schiphol Excellence Parking so exclusive?

- Parking spaces with a 70-degree entry angle for comfortable parking
- Free Space alerts that quickly direct you to an available parking space

How do I get to Schiphol Excellence Parking?

Schiphol Excellence Parking is very close to the motorway exit. You will find a map on www.schiphol.nl/excellenceparking under the header ‘Directions to Schiphol Excellence Parking’.

How do I enter Schiphol Excellence Parking facilities?

You can drive in by drawing a parking ticket, by presenting your credit, PriviumPlus or subscription card or by licence plate recognition*.

*Using licence plate recognition as an access method is only possible if you reserve a parking space made in advance. For more information, see point 6 or go to www.schiphol.nl/parking .

Draw a parking ticket (without a reservation)*:
- Press the button at the Schiphol Excellence Parking entrance barrier.
- You will be issued with a parking ticket and the barrier and speed gate will be raised. This may take a few seconds. Please note that a credit card is the only payment method accepted.
- When you return you can enter the parking facility from the terminal by swiping this same parking ticket through the card reader at the door.
- After using your parking ticket, insert your credit card into the card reader at the exit barrier. The amount owed will be debited automatically and you will receive a receipt.
- Please note: cash payments are not accepted! If you enter the parking facility by drawing a parking ticket you can only pay with a credit card, PriviumPlus card or a debit or chip card from your bank.

Entering the facility with a credit card (without a reservation):
- Insert your valid credit card into the card reader at the entrance. The barrier and speed gates will be raised. This may take a moment. If your credit card is not accepted, please press the intercom button and wait for instructions from one of our staff members.
- To enter the parking facility via the terminal when you return, simply swipe the credit card you used when entering the parking facility through the card reader.
- When you exit simply insert your credit card into the card reader at the exit. The amount owed will be debited automatically and you will receive a receipt. Upon you exit, please remember to use the same credit card that you used to enter the parking facility so that the parking system can recognise you as a Schiphol Excellence guest.

Entering the facility with a subscription:
- Hold your subscription card in front of the card reader for two or three seconds. Do NOT insert it into the card reader! The barrier and speed gates will be raised. This may take a few seconds. If your subscription card is not accepted, please press the intercom button and wait for instructions from one of our staff members.
- When you return you can enter the parking facility by holding your subscription card (if you used this card to enter the facility) in front of the card reader for two to three seconds.
- When you exit the facility the speed gate will open. Please hold your subscription card in front of the card reader at the exit barrier. It may take a moment for the barrier to open.

Entering the facility with your PriviumPlus card:
- Insert your valid PriviumPlus card into the card reader at the entrance. The barrier and speed gates will be raised. If your PriviumPlus card is not accepted, please press the intercom button and wait for instructions from one of our staff members.
- When you return you can enter the parking facility by swiping the same PriviumPlus card that you used to enter the facility through the card reader.
- When you exit simply insert your PriviumPlus card into the card reader at the exit. The amount owed will appear on the display screen. You can also choose to pay with your credit card by inserting it into the card reader after your PriviumPlus card, or by pressing the ‘stop’ button and paying at the payment machine to the right of the exit (behind the speed gate) using your parking ticket.

Is it possible to reserve a parking space in Schiphol Excellence Parking?

Yes, it is possible to reserve a parking space in advance. Parking spaces can be booked from six months up to 24 hours prior to arrival at the parking facility.
You can book a parking space and pay for it with your credit card or through iDEAL.

How do I enter the parking facility after I have made a reservation?

When you book a parking space please select your preferred access method. You can either enter the facility with a credit card or by using our licence plate recognition system.

Entering the facility with a credit card (with a reservation): If you selected ‘Credit Card’ as your entry method, follow the steps below:

- Insert your valid credit into the card reader at the entrance barrier (this must be the same card you used to pay for your booking). The barrier and speed gates will be raised. If your credit card is not accepted, please press the intercom button and wait for instructions from one of our staff members. Keep your booking confirmation on hand.
- When you return you can enter the parking facility from the Terminal by swiping the same credit card you used when entering the facility through the card reader.
- When you exit simply insert your credit card into the card reader at the exit. If you exit the facility within the reserved time period the barrier will be raised. This may take a few seconds.
- If you exceeded your reservation period, the amount owed will be debited automatically at the exit and you will receive a receipt. Upon your exit, please remember to use the same credit card that you used to enter the parking facility so that the parking system can recognise you as a Schiphol Excellence guest.


Entering the facility via licence plate recognition (reserved spaces only): If you selected ‘Licence plate recognition’ as your access method, follow the steps below:


- Drive up to the card reader at the entrance. It may take a few seconds before your licence plate is recognised. As soon as your licence plate has been registered, the system will issue you with a parking ticket automatically. You will need this ticket to enter the parking facility from the terminal when you return and to exit the parking facility. If your licence plate is not recognised within a few seconds, please press the intercom button and wait for instructions from one of our staff members. Keep your booking confirmation on hand.
- When you return you can enter the parking facility by swiping the parking ticket that you received upon entering the facility through the card reader.
- When you exit simply insert your parking ticket into the card reader at the exit. If you exit the facility within the reserved time period, the barrier will be raised. This may take a few seconds.
- If you exceeded your parking reservation period, the amount owed will be displayed automatically on the card reader at the exit. You can also choose to pay with your credit card by inserting it into the card reader immediately after your parking ticket, or by pressing the ‘stop’ button and paying at the payment machine to the right of the exit (behind the speed gate) using your parking ticket.

Can I enter the parking facility a day later than the start date in my reservation?

Yes, that’s possible. You can park up to one day later. If you exceed your reserved parking period you will be charged an additional parking fee. The rate for extended parking is the same as the rate for reserved parking applied by Schiphol Excellence Parking.

How can I pay for Schiphol Excellence Parking?

With your credit card
If you entered the facility using a credit card you can pay using the same card. Insert your credit card into the card reader at the exit barrier. The barrier will be raised. This may take a few seconds. The amount owed will be debited automatically. For other information about entering and exiting the parking facility please see Question 4.

Through a reservation
If you reserved a parking space in advance you will already have paid with your credit card or by bank transfer. There will be no need for you to make any further payment if you do not exceed the reserved period. If you do exceed the reservation period, an additional fee will apply that you can pay separately with your credit card upon exiting the facility. For more information about entering and exiting the parking facility please see Question 6.

Through your subscription
If you have taken out a subscription you will pay a fixed monthly amount that is debited automatically from your bank account. Subscription holders can park as often and as long as they wish. For more information about entering and exiting the parking facility please see Question 4.

What does a Schiphol Excellence Parking subscription offer?

There are various types of subscription available. Depending on your needs, you can opt for a personal subscription or a company subscription. For more information and rates, see www.schiphol.nl/excellenceparking or send an email to dijkhuis_e@schiphol.nl for custom advice.

How are subscriptions invoiced?

Payment is by direct debit. You will be sent a monthly statement for your records.

How can I apply for a subscription?

You can apply for a subscription through our website www.schiphol.nl/excellenceparking under the header: ‘Subscription’. Your will receive your subscription card by post within fourteen business days after your order has been processed.

What conditions apply to a subscription?

Subscriptions must be taken out for at least six months. After this period, your can cancel your subscription subject to a one-month notice period.
