Safety & Security Recurrent Training
All staff in possession of a Schiphol Pass with apron authorisation (P) must take an online Safety & Security Recurrent Training. After the training they also must complete the Safety & Security Test at the Badge Centre.
When must you complete the Recurrent Training?
- Halfway through the pass’s term of validity if the Schiphol Pass is valid for three or more years.
- On renewal of the Schiphol Pass. This date is printed on the reverse of the pass itself.
What is the procedure for the Recurrent Training?
- Your employer informs you when you have to take the Recurrent Training.
- You study the Pocket Guide Safety & Security.
- You complete the online Recurrent Training.
- At the Badge Centre it will be registered if you took the online Recurrent Training.
- You report to the Badge Centre to take the Safety & Security Test.
- If applicable, a new Schiphol Pass will be issued.
Consequences if you do not take the Recurrent Training
Employees with apron authorisation must complete the Recurrent Training in order to take the Safety & Security Test at the Badge Centre. This means that, should the Schiphol Pass expire before that time, it cannot be renewed. Employees who have not completed the Recurrent Training and the Tests halfway through might be asked to do so by their employer.
