Airside Safety Test
All applicants for a Schiphol Pass that grants access to the Security Restricted Areas - Critical Part on airside (perimeter roads and/or aprons) must successfully complete the Airside Safety Test. This Test is part of the Safety & Security Test and contains multiple choice questions on rules and regulations concerning safety airside.
Depending on where you will be working, the test can be divided into two sections: twelve questions about the perimeter roads and twelve questions about the aprons.
The test is held at the Badge Centre in the Schiphol Group Head Office at Evert van Beekstraat 202.
Re-sitting the Test
The following rules apply to those who do not immediately pass the test:
- Failed for the first time: Customers may retake the test that they failed on the same day. If a customer wishes to retake the test the next day or later, then all the tests must be taken again. This must be done within two months of the date on the Schiphol Pass application form.
- Failed a second time: Customers may retake the test(s) that they failed on the same day. If a customer wishes to take a test for the third time, this is only possible from the following day onwards. All tests must then be taken again. This must be done within two months of the date on the Schiphol Pass application form.
- Failed a third time: The customer will not receive a Schiphol Pass. The customer may take the test(s) again after three months.
Validity of application form
The application form is valid for two months from the date of issue. If you retake the Test after two months or more, you must fill out a new application form and have it signed by your employer.
