Applying for a Visitor’s Pass

Do you work at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol and want bring visitors to carry out work-related activities in a protected area? You can request a Visitor’s Pass for this purpose if you already have a permanent Schiphol Pass for a protected area.

Maximum number of visitors
A visitor must have an escort in order to enter and stay in a protected area. The escort is responsible for the visitor(s) for the entire duration of the working visit and is allowed to bring a maximum of five visitors.

Functional necessary
In order to be able to apply for a Visitor’s Pass, your employer must be considered ‘functional necessary’ at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. Relevant companies include airlines, cargo companies, handling agents, concessionaries and government bodies that have an account manager at Schiphol Group. This naturally includes Schiphol Group itself. ‘Functional necessary’ means that the company provides added value to the primary or secondary processes within the protected area of the airport.

Applying for a Visitor’s Pass
If you want to apply for a Visitor’s Pass, you need an original, complete and correctly filled-out Visitor’s Pass application form. The form must be unmarked (including use of correction fluid etc.),  and must be signed by an authorised signatory at your employer and by the functional necessar principal, if appropriate.

You must always list the reason for the visit on the application form. It is not permitted to submit an application for non-work related visits (such as an anniversary, birthday, meeting family). The application form must be submitted before 10:00 at least one working day in advance to the Badge Centre or faxed to: 020 601 31 67.
