Bus lines
Airport Schiphol has an extensive network of direct bus lines connecting it to the surrounding towns and cities.
Schiphol Sternet
Most of these connections are maintained by the Schiphol Sternet network. These lines operate with high frequency from early in the morning until late in the evening. Some lines also include a night service. Travel times to and from Amsterdam Airport Schiphol seldom exceed half an hour. Passengers on all lines embark and disembark at Schiphol Plaza (directly in front of the Arrival and Departure Halls). In addition to the connections listed in the overview below, there are also a limited number of special rush-hour lines specifically for commuters.
Zuidtangent
The Zuidtangent express bus service offers passengers and visitors to Amsterdam Airport Schiphol a fast and comfortable connection with the surrounding region. Most Zuidtangent buses make use of special bus lanes to avoid other traffic and congestion. This means you can get to and from Schiphol quickly, even during rush hour. The buses are also equipped with various additional features, such as comfortable seats, plenty of legroom, a low floor for easy access and ample space for luggage and personal belongings. The Zuidtangent express bus service runs two lines:
Line 300: Haarlem, Vijfhuizen, Hoofddorp, Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, Amstelveen, Ouderkerk, Amsterdam Zuidoost and vice versa (at least six times hourly, with one service per hour at night).
Line 310: Nieuw Vennep, Hoofddorp, Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, Amsterdam Buitenveldert and vice versa (at least twice hourly, four times hourly to/from Nieuw Vennep).
Interliner
In addition to the Zuidtangent express bus service, Sternet also offers another rapid bus connection in the Schiphol region: Interliner. The Interliner 370 line runs between Alphen a/d Rijn, Leimuiden, Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, Amsterdam Zuid and Amsterdam Centre (Leidseplein).
