Designed especially for picking up passengers without spending too much time at the airport, short-stop parking is located near the Arrivals Hall, directly opposite Schiphol Plaza. The first 15 minutes are free of charge. Your car is parked in a covered car park guarded by a 24/7 surveillance system.
The Schiphol Short-Stop car park features a covered waiting area where current flight information is displayed, making it an ideal meeting point. This car park is located only a few metres from the Arrivals Hall.
If you wish to spend more than 30 minutes at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, Schiphol Terminal Parking is a more economical option. If you want to pick up or drop off a passenger in greater comfort and need a little more time, try Schiphol Excellence Parking. Note that the space in front of the Departure and Arrival Halls can only be used for loading and unloading.

* The first 15 minutes of free parking at Schiphol can only be claimed once a day. You will be charged a starting rate of EUR 2.50 every subsequent time that you enter the car park on that same day.

Parking for longer when picking up a passenger
If you want to spend a little more time picking up a passenger from the airport, for instance because you want to go into the terminal yourself, we recommend that you park your car at Schiphol Visitors Parking 1 (P1) and 2 (P2). This is a more economical alternative, where parking costs EUR 1 for every 12 minutes, up to the maximum daily rate of EUR 31 in 2014 and EUR 32.50 in 2015.
To enter the parking garage, simply draw a ticket from the machine at the entrance barrier or insert your credit card. The payment machines accept cash, credit cards and debit cards. You will need to enter your personal identification number (PIN) when paying with your credit card. The first 15 minutes are free of charge. After this, parking costs € 1 for every 12 minutes up to the maximum daily rate. If you leave the parking garage you will be charged a start rate of € 2 every time you re-enter on the same day. Visitors planning to spend more than 30 minutes at the airport are advised to park at Schiphol Visitors Parking.

Schiphol Short-Stop Parking is located directly in front of the Arrivals Hall entrance. Simply follow the signs for ‘Arrivals’. You will then see the signs for Short-Stop Parking 6. Continue until the T-junction. Take the exit on your left, which will lead you to the entrance barriers of Schiphol Short-Stop Parking P6.
Travellers can find Schiphol Short-Stop Parking from the Arrivals Hall by exiting Schiphol Plaza and walking across the pedestrian crossing to the other side of the square in the direction of the large video screen. The entrance to Schiphol Short-Stop Parking is directly under the awning.
Maximum clearance at Schiphol Short Stop Parking
The multi-storey car parks of Schiphol Short Stop Parking has a 2-metre clearance. P3 Long-term Parking has no maximum clearance making it suitable for short-term parking of vehicles with heights exceeding 2 metres. Notify the attendant via the intercom that your vehicle's height exceeds 2 metres and you will be able to park in P3 Long-term Parking at the short-term parking (P1/P2) rate.
