Schiphol officially welcomes China Cargo Airlines

The freshly painted China Cargo Airlines Boeing 777 freighter landed at the airport at noon and passed through a triumphal arch of water organised by Schiphol Airport and its fire brigade.

Previously, the route between Amsterdam and Shanghai was operated by Great Wall Airlines with Boeing 747-400 freighters. Due to a merger between CK, Great Wall Airlines and Shanghai Airline Cargo, CK now serves Amsterdam on a daily basis with a B777. CK connects Schiphol to Chongqing, Shanghai and Tianjin, China.
