Power to you with Vodafone Passport
In July Vodafone started their Vodafone Passport campaign on Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. This campaign is focussed on al departing passengers to promote the possibilities of Vodafone when you’re abroad. Vodafone is using several media objects to get their message across.
Passengers appreciate Schiphol advertising
One giant banner on the G-pier, a wrap around banner, commercials on the digital pier package, a six pack of banners at Schengen and shopping trolleys are all booked to promote Vodafone Passport. Departing passengers at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol can not miss this attractive campaign.
Schiphol is an effective environment for advertising. Last year research into the Vodafone Roaming campaign, by Millward Brown, showed that passengers welcome advertising and that Schiphol is the place for brand activation.
Outdoor at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol perfoms with 64% almost 19% better than outdoor advertising in general. The specific Vodafone campaign did really well. Results summarized:
- At the B-pier Vodafone realized a media reach of 1.1 million passengers during the two months campaign period
- The advertising reach of the Vodafone campaign was a staggering 91%
- This high reach and high recognition lead to very efficient CPT (Cost per Thousand) and
cost per % recognised ratio.
