Europese tender "Reduction of Lifting Index for manual (un)loading of carts and containers".
With the project reduction of the Lifting Index for manual (un)loading of carts and containers SNBV aims to roll-out a solution for the existing exceeding of the Lifting Index for operators in the baggage handling areas. The objective of the project is to decrease the physical strain for baggage handling operators in such a way that the Lifting Index is not exceeded with more than two.
The tender is divided into three separate lots:
Lot 1: Loading from lateral into loading unit (containers/carts);
Lot 2: Loading from caroussel into loading unit (containers/carts);
Lot 3: Unloading from loading unit (containers/carts) onto unloading quay.
