Website Amsterdam Airport wins Webbie award for Best Airport Website

Amsterdam Airport Schiphol won the category of Best Airport on Flightglobal.com Webbies for 2009.

This is the second time in two consecutive years. The 2nd annual Flightglobal Webbies - the Aviation Web Awards - celebrate and acknowledge the best and brightest aviation websites and online activities. The judges were looking for a website demonstrating a richness and depth of information for travellers and visitors, incorporating diversity of user needs through navigation to airport information and keeping users entertained while in transit. Amsterdam Airport Schiphol also triumphed in the Best Airport category for knocking down language barriers.

Schiphol.com and the Aviation Marketing homepage have recently been revamped. With a fresh and contemporary new look designed to give that special 'Schiphol feeling' a new boost, a clear navigation structure, revised content and new functionalities, the site can now more than meet today’s stringent quality demands. Navigating has become more straightforward on the new Schiphol.com site. The site's over 3,000 pages are now more clearly organised and more easily accessible.
