Saudi Airlines Cargo to launch scheduled flights to and from Amsterdam Airport Schiphol
On 6 December 2010, Saudi Airlines Cargo launched a new regular scheduled service between Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, Riyadh and Jeddah. Saudi Airlines Cargo will transport cargo to and from Schiphol with an MD-11 three times a week.
As their primary cargo consists of flowers from Africa, Schiphol is an attractive destination for Saudi Airlines Cargo on account of the nearby FloraHolland flower auction in Aalsmeer.
Saudi Airlines Cargo is represented in the Netherlands by Active Airlines Representatives BV at Schiphol. Aviapartner Cargo is the airline's handler. Saudi Airlines Cargo offers 75 freighter and belly destinations via the hubs of Schiphol, Riyadh and Jeddah.
Including Saudi Airlines Cargo, Amsterdam Airport Schiphol now boasts twenty-three cargo airlines.
