Prime Minister Balkenende and Schiphol CEO Jos Nijhuis visit Korea

From 27 – 29 April, Schiphol participated in a trade mission to Korea, lead by H.E. Prime Minister J.P. Balkenende.

Schiphol’s involvement included a presentation about the competitiveness of Main Port Schiphol to an audience of 300 Korean export companies and members of KOTRA (Korean Trade Association). In addition, the delegation was welcomed by President & CEO CW Lee of Incheon Airport to discuss airport developments, including cargo. A return visit to Amsterdam Airport Schiphol is planned for.
