Official opening of IJS Global World HQ

On 27 May worldwide logistics service provider IJS Global staged an opening ceremony and launch event for its new world headquarters in Amsterdam. With over 200 invited guests and dignitaries in attendance, Schiphol Group’s President & CEO Jos Nijhuis, alongside IJS Global's CEO, Sjoerd van Loon, and Chairman, Henk Hartong, officially opened the building.

The new facility more than triples IJS Global's warehousing space to over 5,400 square metres, provides additional office accommodation (2,000m2) while at the same time providing easier access and manoeuvring space for customer vehicles as a result of the incorporation of 20 truck docks.

"Moving to these new premises will enable IJS Global to operate more efficiently and we now have both our head offices and our main Dutch facility situated in the ideal location at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol in order to grow our business,” said Sjoerd van Loon, IJS Global CEO.

In response to IJS Global’s move to new premises, Schiphol Group President Jos Nijhuis said: "We are delighted to welcome IJS Global to Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. I am very proud that this renowned company has chosen Schiphol as the location for its Netherlands and global headquarters.”
