NCSP officially recognized by Transport Security Administration

As of 1 April, the US Transport Security Administration has recognised the Netherlands National Cargo Security Programme (NCSP). The on-going collaboration and cooperation between the TSA and the Netherlands National Coordinator for Counterterrorism and Security (NCTV) is important for the enhancement of international air cargo security.

The recognition of the NCSP has several benefits: it allows for the greater facilitation of goods and commerce between the Netherlands and the US and eases the burden on the industry by lifting, where appropriate, duplicative or redundant measures, while still ensuring the highest levels of security required by both TSA and NTCV.
